Incognito
Ah, it's the little pleasures of life that make it worth living.
Cuss on the Freshman
So, note to self: Do NOT ride the 832 past Y-View apartments, and I should try to remember that I was once a freshman girl, too, even though it's getting hard to remember back that far.

I feel sheepish..
However, in my English novel class, something came up.
I found the cherry tomatoes I packed for my lunch and I began to eat them, when my professor compared Victorian England to LDS culture. I rose my hand to comment, which inevitably included me talking about the treatment of sex in society, which I tried to do without blushing, which I suppose means I must be a Victorian Mormon. All the while, I'm was trying to pick a stem off of one of my tomatoes, but as I was gesticulating for emphasis, the stem remained in my hand and the tomato went flying.
Slightly awkward.
As Vonnegut would say, so it goes.

Contentment
I think I’ve achieved Nirvana. At the very least, I’ve found the Cadillac of Bus Routes. The bus I’m writing from still has new car smell. The seats are soft and they recline. This is the life. I didn’t know that buses like this even existed in the UTA system. What a perfect end to a great day.
Today I said good-bye, officially, to the Center for Service and Learning. It was difficult ot keep the smile from my face as I heard people stressing over various matters that no longer had anything to do with me. It was nice to let go of that stress.
Yesterday I met Viola from the Ukraine, and I managed to keep all of my “Seinfield” jokes under wraps. Be proud of me. She was very nice, and she’s trying to figure how to get a second bachelor’s degree from BYU. She’s been studying up at BYU Idaho since her mission at Temple Square. She road the bus from Rexburg yesterday morning and was rushing to make the return trip yesterday evening.

The bus was crowded that day, my friends.
And to make matters worse, a couple of people were lolling about taking up two seats. But that wasn’t the worst part. Some of them were all snuggled up against the seats. So grody! I don’t even know if that’s how you spell it!
So I got off the bus at UVSC and I started up the hill toward my connecting bus, wondering why it was so far away from the bus stop, and when I got there, no one was inside! Kind of creepy. I waited around for a bit trying to figure out what was going on, thinking to myself, they’re not going to leave a running bus (did I mention that the engine was running? Makes it slightly creepier doesn’t it?) unattended for too long, right? Almost as soon as I turned around to wait for another bus, the seemingly driverless bus behind me roared to life and drove away! Little did I know that he was just going to the turnaround station across the street. Curses! Rookie mistake.
Now I feel a little sheepish.
